 As most of other established adult artist, Milo Manara has numerous mainstream comic book projects before coming up with couple of adult bestsellers that made his name so famous today.His first mega hit was “Click!”, published in 1983 in Italy and France. It took some time for readers to notice this gem but once it was available to broader audience the series was published repeatedly in dozens of countries including the States. “Click!” had four sequels. Among Manara’s other notable adult comic works are Gullivera (based on Jonathan Swift’s novel), Revolution, Butterscotch and Kamasutra. Unlike “Click!”, these are “softer” novels though. Manara also worked on couple of projects together with Hugo Pratt and Federico Fellini. |
